ONLINE ESCAPE ROOM. PHYSICAL ESCAPE ROOM. REUSABLE ESCAPE ROOMby Alba Polonio
ONLINE ESCAPE ROOM
At the beginning, we planned to create Hack Forward as an online escape room since we thought that it would facilitate its dissemination even at the risk of losing the traditional physical experience. But it couldn’t be. Part of a good escape room is touching, investigating, and searching for the secrets behind objects. Also, we think it makes it more dynamic.
We believe that a good escape room at home has to have physical material and of course, a good combination of online experience since almost 50% of a person's day-to-day is digital interaction.
PHYSICAL ESCAPE ROOM
The problem was that the vast majority of escape board games that we had played to date could only be played just once because of its physical material. It bothered us to enjoy a portable escape game and not be able to pass it on to someone. That’s why Key Enigma decided unanimously to try to make our first game replayable.
REUSABLE ESCAPE ROOM
For this reason, it is not necessary to damage the box material to the extreme and in the event of an accident, we give the option of reprinting it. In addition, we have provided a link for those who want to put each object back in its envelope as it was at the beginning. ⚠️SPOILER ALERT⚠️ Take a look after having played and opened all the envelopes. Hack Forward content.
Although we will not deny that hidden pleasure of destruction when we are allowed to cut, damage, break, wet or burn materials. No matter how the most careful and picky friend in the group says "care", "let's not break this" or "let's do it on another sheet ...". No way, I want to nail this pencil into that paper as if today was my last day!
And speaking of the devil, have you seen all the possibilities offered by the pens and markers with special ink on the Key Enigma website? Check here
